Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026
1. The short version
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and date of birth. Your date of birth is used for age checks and the “your birthday” scoring bonus. Your password is handled by our sign-in provider (Amazon Cognito); we never see or store it.
- Game activity: leagues you run or join, team names and icons, draft picks, watch lists, waiver claims, objections, celebrities you add by hand, buy-in status a commissioner records, and your notification choices.
- Things you type into searches, including web lookups, so we can find the person you mean.
- Email delivery information: whether our emails were delivered, bounced or marked as spam, so we stop sending to addresses that don't want them.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser type and request times in our servers' logs, used to run and secure the Service.
- Cookies: a few essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember which league you're viewing and remember an invite link, plus a short-lived one while you sign in. Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your browser. We use no analytics or advertising cookies.
We don't collect payment information. Donations happen on Venmo, under Venmo's own privacy policy.
3. Information about public figures
4. How we use it
- to run the game: leagues, drafts, scoring, standings, waivers and payouts records;
- to send the notifications you choose (you can turn each type off, or all email, at any time);
- to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms, including reporting threats of harm to law enforcement;
- to fix problems and improve the Service.
5. Who sees it
Other players in your league see your name, team name and icon, picks, and league activity. They don't see your email address or date of birth, although scores that use your birthday are visible.
Service providers who process information for us only to run the Service: Amazon Web Services (hosting, database, sign-in, backups and email, in the United States) and Anthropic (AI features; we send it public information about celebrities and the searches you type, not your account details). When you view a page, your browser loads celebrity photos directly from Wikimedia Commons, which receives your IP address under its own policy.
Legal reasons: we may share information if required by law, or to protect anyone's safety, including reporting credible threats of harm. We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
